BMW Bobber conversion by Sport Evolution
The Bobber dates back to the 1940s and 1950s. To make their motorbikes lighter and faster, the motorbike maniacs of the time mounted the front mudguard upside down on the rear wheel and omitted the front mudguard completely. A small single seat or bench was another lightweight design measure. This made the Bobber the first supersports bike of its time, and its idiosyncratic style still amazes onlookers today.
The Bobber from the SE Concept Bike series is completely cantilevered with a single seat, just like the mudguard mounted directly above the bike. The exhaust is kept short and ends just behind the gearbox. All unnecessary mounts are removed, the SE Bobber reduces everything to the bare essentials.

To enable light-footed cruising, we have lowered the front of the BMW Bobber by 80 mm. As a result, the bike weaves through every bend as light as a feather, but still offers very good stability in all speed ranges. The rear of the bike has been lowered by 5 mm, which maintains the comfortable seating. Despite a heavily rear-wheel weight distribution, which is largely due to the seating position, the BMW Bobber is one of the handiest models in the concept bike range. This is largely due to the low fork, which nevertheless offers good comfort.
