Nr.2 Power-Kit : SE Torque Kit 1070cc + SE dual ignition + SE sports camshaft
By adding an SE sports camshaft, the potential of the 1070cc SE Torque Big Bore cylinder kit with dual ignition can be increased even further in terms of torque and power.
The package includes:
- SE 1070 cc Performance Torque Kit
- SE Performance ignition system freely programmable
- Upgrade to dual ignition incl. conversion / machining of the cylinder heads
- SE sports camshaft
The conversion to 1070cc (Nr.1 Power-Kit ) is the first measure you should choose if you are thinking about tuning your BMW 2-valve boxer. The engine feels significantly more powerful and powerful in operation. It's not about driving faster, but emotionally it puts a grin on your face every time you step on the gas. The first 50 metres are enough to feel that something is going on here.
Plus dual ignition (Nr.2 Power-Kit) With a large combustion chamber diameter, combustion takes a relatively long time from the first ignition to the complete ignition of the entire mixture. When the highest combustion pressure is reached at top dead centre of the piston, parts of the mixture have burnt off uselessly or have not yet ignited. As a result, potential power and torque is lost and the exhaust values deteriorate (high HC values)
The installation of the SE Sport camshaft (Nr.3 Power-Kit) adds a few more coals. The focus is no longer just on torque, which is very good with stages 1 or 2. With the SE camshaft, the engine is much lighter and therefore revs happily from the rev cellar right up to the very top through the entire rev range. A real pleasure that is addictive.
