SE Concept Bikes, if it should be something special

Like all our concept bikes, the Bobber is a completely rebuilt vehicle from the ground up. The base vehicle for this conversion is a BMW R80 Monolever from the years of construction 1985 to 1996 (no Paralever, this was built in parallel from 1991 onwards).The concept includes the purchase of the donor vehicle, the complete restoration and the conversion to a Bobber style. In addition to a new electrical system, the engine, gearbox and final drive are also fundamentally rebuilt.
The bobber is often misjudged as a pure show bike. However, the origin of this style was created by making the bikes lighter. This has remained the case to this day; the bobber is the lightweight among the SE concept bikes. The tubular handlebars fitted as standard can also be swapped for stub handlebars, which looks cool and is closer to a racer character. We use the chunky Heidenau K60 tyres, but the high cross-ply tyres from Shinko are also often used.
The restoration includes the following work and parts:
- Engine, gearbox and final drive completely rebuilt
- Carburettor overhauled
- frame, swingarm, wheels and all chassis parts powder coated
- all bearings new
- Brakes completely overhauled and powder coated
- Fork shortened and overhauled, dip tubes powder coated
- all screws, connecting parts, rubber parts new
- all cables and wires new
- New wiring harness

- SE fork tube covers black powder coated
- Bates style headlight 53/4 with clear glass
- SE cast aluminium handlebar switch with new wiring harness
- Motogadget Tiny speedometer
- Under Engine battery box under gearbox
- Lightweight Lithium Ion battery
- SE aluminium handlebars
- Brembo brake cylinder
- Steel braided brake lines
- SE clutch fitting
- Monza fuel filler cap
- Kellermann LED indicators front and rear
- Adjustable gas pressure shock absorber

TÜV acceptance of the complete vehicle/conversion and new main inspection
Final Control:
- Adjustment work, tuning to the new components and performance/torque measurement on test bench.
- Acceptance drive before delivery (60-80km)
- Final inspection, 100 point check
- Production of high quality photos
