Nr.2 Power-Kit : SE 1070cc Torque Kit + SE dual ignition
The upgrade to the SE Performance dual ignition gives you the opportunity to get even more torque and power out of the 1070cc SE Torque Big Bore cylinder kit.
The package includes:
- SE 1070cc Performance Torque Kit
- SE Performance ignition system freely programmable
- Upgrade to dual ignition incl. conversion / machining of the cylinder heads
The conversion to 1070cc is the first measure you should choose if you are thinking about tuning your BMW 2-valve boxer. The engine feels significantly more powerful and powerful in operation. It's not about driving faster, but emotionally it puts a grin on your face every time you step on the gas. The first 50 metres are enough to feel that something is going on here.
Plus dual ignition. With a large combustion chamber diameter, combustion takes a relatively long time, from the first ignition to the complete ignition of the entire mixture. When the highest combustion pressure is reached at top dead centre of the piston, parts of the mixture have burnt off uselessly or have not yet ignited. As a result, potential power and torque is lost and the exhaust values deteriorate (high HC values).
By converting to an SE dual ignition, an additional 9 hp and more than 13 Nm are mobilised from the 1070cc torque kit. The result is a real power pack with a total power gain of 28 hp and a total torque increase of 32 Nm.
