BMW Cafe Racer conversions from Sport-Evolution
The Cafe Racér originated in the suburbs of London in the 1960s. The rebellious youth of that time souped up and rebuilt their motorbikes according to all the rules of the art, the result was the Cafe Racer. They raced it between the famous ACE coffee and the nearby roundabouts.
But again, this was a roadster with deep stubby bumpers, grippy street tyres and a humpback seat. The BMW Cafe Racer from the SE Concept Bike series is equipped with a 1-person seat with hump. As the rear frame length corresponds to that of the Roadster rear frame, a flat bench seat for 2-person operation can also be fitted as an option.

The classic BMW Cafe Racer from Sport Evolution is comfortable without wanting to hide its sporty origins. The fork is shortened 50 mm and the rear raised by 10 mm. This shifts the weight to the front wheel, which also makes the overall weight distribution 60% in favor of the front. The BMW SE Cafe Racer offers maximum feel and confidence on twisty country roads, but despite its sporty design still enough comfort for longer trips.
