The SE Performance shock absorber offers a clear advantage in terms of responsiveness and higher reserves. Not that the Thai made YSS shock absorber is not a good choice, but in terms of sensitivity, response and the associated stable riding comfort, the SE shock absorber is significantly better and more sensitive.
How is this noticeable? First and foremost in an overall more stable and yet more comfortable ride. The SE shock absorber smoothly compensates for damage to the road surface, whereas the YSS lets the odd bump through unfiltered.
The SE Performance dampers have been developed by us, in cooperation with TFX Suspension in the Netherlands, especially for our Enduro conversions with their reduced curb weight.
