It's often the small details that cause the biggest worries during a conversion. When modifying the footrest system, it was often the issue of the brake light switch for drum brakes that gave us a headache or was difficult to solve visually. We often talked about an encapsulated switch that is screwed into the brake linkage and is sufficiently stable. Now we have made it. There is a push and a pull switch version with M6 threads on both sides.
For installation, the brake linkage is separated at a suitable point and shortened by the length of the SE brake light switch. The switch can then simply be integrated into the brake linkage and locked with two 6 mm nuts. The electrical connection is the same as the old switch.
