BMW 2-valve Boxer cylinder heads - precision machining for the highest quality
Experience a comprehensive overhaul of your BMW 2-valve Boxer cylinder heads that meets the highest quality standards. Our professional treatment begins with a thorough cleaning in an industrial washing machine, followed by a special ceramic blasting process that leaves a velvety, easy-to-clean surface.
Every step of this process is carried out with the utmost precision: Old valve guides are removed, base holes for oversize valve guides and seat rings are precisely milled and honed to ensure an ideal fit. The components are inserted with pinpoint accuracy by heating and cooling in liquid nitrogen, resulting in a particularly tight and durable connection. The final honing ensures a low-friction, smooth surface.
Using our modern Serdi valve seat machining process, seat rings are individually milled based on almost 30 years of experience and specially developed contours. Finally, a vacuum test guarantees the perfect tightness of the valves.
The machining process is rounded off by precise face milling of the cylinder head and valve cover flat surfaces. After fitting new valves, valve springs and valve keys, your cylinder heads are returned to you ready for installation - ready for optimum performance and long-lasting driving pleasure.

Note: the facing of the sealing surface to the cylinder can be booked directly with the cylinder. In this case, we recommend also machining the sealing surface to the valve cover. Often, it is this that shows a more severe distortion. If you plan the sealing surface to the cylinder with the bad valve cover side on it, you practically transfer the distortion to the cylinder side. Therefore, it is best to order the facing of both sides at the same time.
