The SE Sport-Evolution individual cylinder selective dyno tuning includes:
- BMW R nineT models (built from 2014 to 2020)
- an input measurement to determine the basic power of the motorcycle
- a complete basic tuning of the motorcycle and creation of a map
- cylinder-selective mappinhg, each individual cylinder is tuned independently of each other
- a final measurement in comparison to the basic measurement
- corresponding printouts of the performance diagrams
- Important:
- The Rapid Bike EVO Module is not included in the price
- Assembly costs are calculated according to time and effort
With the help of an intermediary module (Rapid Bike EVO), the output signals of the BMW R nineT models (year of manufacture 2014 to 2020) of the original control unit are received, modified according to the setting made and passed on to the end peripherals (injectors, ignition, throttle motor, etc.).
The advantage: The original periphery remains untouched. As soon as the module is removed again, the original condition is restored.
The disadvantage: The costs due to the additional equipment, as well as its installation, are higher.
The Rapid Bike EVO, unlike the Dynojet Powercommander products, also includes the original lambda probes and can (if desired) thus make a further fine tuning independently in later driving. It also allows the use of a quickshifter (shift interrupter).
In our dyno tuning (mapping), an individual map is always written for each motorcycle. The mixture composition is measured by means of a lambda probe in the exhaust and corrected to the optimum values. This is usually done every 250 rpm, as well as at the various throttle positions 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100%. The power gain is usually 5-15 hp in the top-end power and up to 20 hp in the lower and middle throttle and rpm ranges, depending on how well or poorly the original map was designed.
We basically apply a cylinder-selective tuning ang. This is an enhanced form of map generation. Here, the individual cylinders are tuned independently of each other. For a two-cylinder engine, this means 2 completely independent maps. For this it is necessary to install taps for lambda measurement in each manifold. We do this by means of small 6mm threaded inserts, which are mounted in the exhaust manifolds at a location that is as invisible as possible. The exhaust gas is then sucked through a high temperature hose with powerful pumps to the lambda probes of the Dynojet dynamometer. With different models an additional achievement increase of again 5 - 6 HP is to be obtained, the engine run and the gas acceptance become again smoother and rounder.
