The SE Bobber Seat Kit comes ready-to-use with all mounting materials and is suitable for all Monolever and Paralever models from 1985. The seat is finished upholstered and covered. The bracket is already black silk matt, matching the original BMW main frame, powder coated.
The elaborately manufactured precision tube is elliptically shaped in the front area and bent further in two different angles. The pipe can be lengthwise approx. 40mm are moved so that the perfect sitting position is found for every driver size.

I have a Twinshock model?
We only offer this seat for the Monolever and Paralever models. There are two reasons for this: Firstly, some Twinshock models have a round tube embedded in the elliptical top tube for reinforcement. This means that our seatpost does not fit the entire length of the original top tube. However, we still convert Twinshock models into bobbers in our workshop. In this case, we shorten our seat post slightly and then weld it directly to the original frame top tube.
The second reason is that if you remove the rear frame, the mounts for the shock absorbers are also removed. There are of course "specialists" who screw the shock absorbers to the small mounts on the rear frame. These are not designed for this and, in our opinion, cannot withstand the load in the long term. In addition, TÜV registration is not possible. For our TS conversions, we weld correspondingly strong shock absorber mounts to the main frame. The entire rear conversion is then entered in the vehicle documents by the TÜV (German Technical Inspection Agency) via individual approval at our premises.
For customer conversion projects that take place in the garage at home, often only the frame with the swing arm is delivered. We then only carry out the welding and metalwork on the Twinshock frame. The customers then collect the frame, carry out their conversion and bring the complete, ready-to-ride bike back to us for TÜV approval. The prerequisite is that the rest of the bike is also in an approvable condition.
