The diagram shows the power and torque of a fully standard BMW R80 and a fully standard BMW R100.
The performance curves of a 2-valve engine that has been converted with our SE 1070cc Torque Kit are compared to this. In this example, the engine runs with single ignition. However, you can also find a diagram with dual ignition in this section.
The conversion to 1070cc is the first measure you should choose if you are thinking about tuning your BMW 2-valve boxer. It is also the measure with the greatest effect, increasing power by 18PS and torque by 17Nm in one go.
The engine feels significantly stronger and more powerful in operation. It's not about driving faster, but emotionally it puts a grin on your face every time you step on the accelerator. The first 50 metres are enough to feel that something is going on here.
