Performance diagram 1: BMW R80 and R100 compared to our SE 1070cc Torque Kit + dual ignition + sports camshaft (Stage 3)
The diagram shows the power and torque of a fully standard BMW R80 and a fully standard BMW R100. The performance curves of a 2-valve engine that has been upgraded with our SE 1070cc Torque Kit, converted to dual ignition with the SE ignition system and fitted with an SE sports camshaft are also compared.
The installation of the SE Sport camshaft adds a few more coals to the engine. The focus is no longer just on the torque, which is very good with stages 1 or 2. With the SE cam, the engine is much lighter and revs happily from the rev cellar all the way up through the entire rev range. A real pleasure that is addictive.
