The basis was a BMW R100RS Twinshock. This model is the only Twinshock version besides the R100S to have a rear brake disc. The conversion of the Twinshock model is somewhat more complex, since the shock absorber mounts are omitted with the dismantling of the rear frame. These are newly welded to the main frame.
