This power kit is an all-inclusive service. You bring your vehicle to us, we carry out the entire conversion and tune the ignition system and carburettors on our dynamometer. A measurement of the input power and the final measurement after the conversion are obligatory.
TÜV registration of the performance level is possible on request. As part of an engine overhaul, the price is reduced by overlapping the work. Please enquire about the price separately.
The installation of the SE Sport camshaft adds a few more coals to the engine. The focus is no longer just on the torque, which is very good with power-kit Nr.1 or Nr.2. With the SE cam, the engine is much lighter and revs happily from the rev cellar all the way up through the entire rev range. A real pleasure that is addictive.
Performance diagram 1: BMW R80 and R100 compared to our SE 1070cc Torque Kit + dual ignition + sports camshaft (Nr.3 Power-kit)
The diagram shows the power and torque of a fully standard BMW R80 and a fully standard BMW R100. The performance curves of a 2-valve engine that has been upgraded with our SE 1070cc Torque Kit, converted to dual ignition with the SE ignition system and fitted with an SE sports camshaft are also compared.
