With a spread of 106 ° and a stroke of 8. 9 mm, the 340 ° is a balanced sports shaft with a center of gravity for the upper speed range. Power and torque from the speed cellar are still good, a full center and a lot of power and torque in the top third of the power band. The rotational power becomes much more agile and lighter, a super compromise between "bottom" and "top".
We use this cam in our Café Racers in road operation, both with standard speed up to 7,000 rpm, but also with increased speed limit up to 8,000 rpm. The slight weakness in the lower speed range can be completely compensated by a conversion to 1070 cc. More torque
