This beautiful scrambler was originally an R100 Twinschock that had already been extensively rebuilt elsewhere. But unfortunately the goal was missed: stylistically too much plingpling, too little engine performance and an uncomfortable chassis.
Like a house renovation, it first had to be painfully demolished. The Twinshock fork and swingarm had had their day, the engine was partially dismantled and valves, camshaft, carburetor and ignition system sorted out. The complete suspension elements of an R100R Paralever served as a new start, equipped with an SE Performance shock absorber and the SE fork damping system. The cylinder heads were reworked and fitted with larger valves, the camshaft was swapped, an SE Performance dual ignition was fitted and Mikuni TM40 carburetors were tuned on our dynamometer.
