The SE Performance triple clamp is CNC machined from high-strength 7075 aircraft aluminum. It captivates by a great optics, perfectly fitting to the 2-valve boxers. A real upgrading of your classic.
Compared to the original, the SE bridge has a correct clamping of the two 36mm standpipes. The stiffness is almost four times higher than the original. The steering behaviour becomes more precise, the feeling for the front wheel improves enormously.
BMW R45 and R65 Twinshock models:
The SE triple clamps do not fit easily on these models. The R45 R65 with two shocks also have 36mm stanchion diameter, but the off set (offset between the stanchions and the steering head) is different. If you still want to use our triple clamp there is a way though. You use the lower triple clamp of the R75 R80 R90 R100 Twinshock models (used for about 50 € to get), these also have 36mm stanchion diameter and the correct off set.
