SE Concept Bikes, if it should be something special

Like all of our concept bikes, the Cafe Racer is a completely rebuilt vehicle from the ground up. The base vehicle for this conversion is a BMW R80 Monolever. The concept includes the purchase of the donor vehicle, the complete restoration and the conversion to a Cafe Racer style. In addition to a new electrical system, the engine, gearbox and final drive are also fundamentally rebuilt.
The SE Cafe Racer is aptly named. With its stub handlebars, you have a good feel for the front wheel. The riding position is slightly front wheel orientated, but by no means uncomfortable. The grippy tyres ensure good handling and a lot of confidence and, in conjunction with the SE suspension, make the bike a real cornering predator that smoothly irons out all the bumps on the country road. If the clip-on handlebars are too low, the Cafe Racer can also be fitted with one of our tubular handlebars.
The restoration includes the following work and parts:
- Engine, gearbox and final drive completely rebuilt
- Carburettor overhauled
- frame, swingarm, wheels and all chassis parts powder coated
- all bearings new
- Brakes completely overhauled and powder coated
- Fork shortened and overhauled, dip tubes powder coated
- all screws, connecting parts, rubber parts new
- all cables and wires new
- New wiring harness

- Bates style headlight 5 3/4 with clear glass
- SE cast aluminium handlebar switch with new wiring harness
- Motogadget Chrono Classic speedo with analogue rev counter
- SE stub handlebars
- Brembo brake cylinder
- Stahlflex brake lines
- SE clutch fitting
- Monza fuel filler cap
- Kellermann LED indicators front and rear
- Adjustable gas pressure shock absorber
- Fork revised
- Motorcycle geometry adapted
- SE fork spring kit
- SE 2-1 exhaust system

- SE rear frame straight 1-person version
- Seat with hump
- SE number plate holder on rear mudguard

- Motogadget mirrors on handlebar fittings
- Paintwork according to customer's wishes (single colour with ruling)
TÜV acceptance of the entire vehicle/conversion and new main inspection
Acceptance:
- Adjustment work, tuning to the new components and power/torque measurement on test bench.
- Acceptance drive before delivery (60-80km)
- Final inspection, 100 point check
- Production of high quality photos
