The basis was a BMW R100S Twinshock. The conversion of the 2-valve Twinshock model is more complex, as the shock absorber mounts are no longer present due to the omission of the rear frame. These are newly welded to the main frame and of course approved by the TÜV.
The bike should get as much black as possible. So we painted or coated everything black, except for the carburettors and the brake discs. The wheels are the original fine-spoke rims of this series. The original air filter box remained completely mounted in the example, which is not very noticeable with the completely black engine. The exhaust system is an SE standard product with ABE.
