Tip: The Heavy Duty sheet steel fender is supplied as a "blank". Due to the long lateral legs, it can basically be adapted to all tyre types and heights. To find the right position, mount the wheel with the mounted tyre and align the fender on the tyre with a suitable spacer. It is up to you whether you mount the long side facing the front or the engine. We use a bicycle tube as a spacer, which we inflate slightly. The distance should be 10 mm. Keep in mind that the tyre "grows" at higher speeds due to the centrifugal forces. When the correct position has been found, mark the four holes for the later screw connection and the desired length of the legs on both sides. Finally, dismantle the fender again, drill the four holes and cut the sides to the desired length.
