The signaling unit is located under the front engine cover and simply replaces the original component. The highlight are the oblong holes in the carrier plate, which simplify an exact basic adjustment of the system. No special tools are required for the installation, but specialist knowledge of motorcycle technology is required. The installation and coordination can of course be carried out by us in-house.

Note: The system can be upgraded to double ignition on request. In order to use a double ignition, the cylinder heads for the second spark plug must be machined.

The number of BMW two-valve conversions is growing steadily. Engines are revised, carburettors, exhaust systems, modified air filter housings or even individual filters are adapted. The carburettor setting will be adjusted or nozzles changed to meet the new requirements. What about the ignition? With the highest-quality systems available on the market, preset ignition curves can be selected by means of switches, but these cannot be influenced.
We weren't satisfied with that. For this reason we have developed a fully programmable ignition system. Compared to the existing systems, an additional performance gain of up to 15% could be achieved. Even with a fully standard BMW R 100 RT, we mobilized up to 8 horsepower, just by converting to the performance ignition system. The possible additional power depends on the condition of the motor and its periphery.
The system is delivered pre-programmed, but can be easily programmed using the serial/USB interface on the laptop. The speed limiter can be freely adjusted, and even an automatic gear selector can be connected. In addition to the software, the enclosed USB Stick contains four prepared ignition maps (mappings).
