Which system is best for my bike?

a) Installation of a permanently installed additional module with which the tuning change is carried out.
The advantage, the original periphery remains untouched. As soon as the module is removed again, the original condition is reached again.
The disadvantage, the costs by the additional equipment, as well as their installation, are higher, the further equipment must be accommodated in the motorcycle and harbors additional sources of error.

b) Direct access to the original control unit.
The advantage, the possibilities of changes are greater. Additional equipment such as exhaust flaps, lambda sensor, secondary air system, etc. can be deactivated if required. One accesses the raw data, which means that all changes in the desired dimension are possible.
The disadvantage of returning to the original state is that the control unit must be reprogrammed (reset).

The reconciliation types

Individual coordination
For individual map generation, the mixture composition is measured by means of a lambda sensor in the exhaust and corrected to the optimum values. This usually happens every 250 rpm, as well as with the various throttle positions 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100%. The power increase in the top-end power is usually 5-10 hp and in the lower and middle throttle ranges up to 20 hp, depending on how well or poorly the original map was designed.

Cylinder-selective tuning
The most optimal form of map generation is the independent tuning of each individual cylinder. Therefore it is necessary to mount taps for lambda measurement in each manifold.
With different models an additional power increase of 5 - 6 HP can be achieved.
